Your Protection Island Neighbourhood Association is your liaison with the agencies and services that are important to this island. Any Protection Island resident, whether they rent or own property, is encouraged to join us. Membership is $10 a year per person.

PINA members are encouraged to stand for election to the Board. Our annual general meeting is an opportunity for all residents and property owners to discuss issues of importance to Islanders. The Board would like to extend a special welcome to our new Islanders.
Who We Are
An elected group of your neighbours who get together to manage PI assets, organize quality services, and work to resolve island issues.
Vision Statement
We envision Protection Island as a unique, quiet, friendly, beautiful and safe community, in which residents cooperate to maintain the natural setting, with its beaches, parks, trees, wildlife and native plants.
Our mission is to work together to find the most acceptable and respectful ways to deal with problems and differences, (access, moorage, garbage disposal, vehicles, streetlights, pets, etc.) while maintaining our informal non-bureaucratic, easy-going Protection Island lifestyle.
The purpose of the Protections Island Neighbourhood Association:
- To secure improvements in the best interest of the property owners and residents on Protection Island
- To promote and develop the wellbeing of the residents and property owners of the community;To own, operate and maintain building and property for the betterment of the community
